I have been looking for novels/short stories by the Russian writer Yevgeny Zamyatin but all that seems to be avaliable is 'We' and a collection of his essays. Does anyone know if any more of his novels are avaliable to an English speaking reader ?

Try www.abe.com and type his name in. It's a site for out of print and second hand books. Looks like there were a few others (Islanders, the Dragon-short stories) available, but an awful lot of We too.
I have an e-text of 'Islanders' and 'the Fisher of Men'. Let me know if you are interested. You should be able to find other e-texts on Russian sites, often in both Russian and English.
we have a copy of "a soviet heretic" at home...my dad tells me it's excellent
