Does anyone know who originally wrote the Japanese book about the Princess of the Moon, Kaguya, and its title? And if there are still copies of the book in print?

Have your tried to Google " Kaguya".  There is a book title on the first page.  Good luck

Yeah i Googled it. But thats no really the one im looking for. The book that i found was a manga, and the story that im looking for was written a long time ago. I know the story talks of a Bamboo Cutter, and how Kaguya is vistied by man suitors, including the emperor himself, and soon sends them rigorous task, gathering treasuers to please her, in hopes that she will marry one of them.
