Do not do as I have just done and put soap powder in the washing machine when you have just painted your nails and the nail polish is still wet. Ariel powder creates an interesting textured look but I don't think it will catch on

At the gig last night, Mrs O, we were queuing behind two guys, and listening in a bit.

They had travelled down to the gig from ... yes ... Whitby!!

It sounded like they'd seen Beth Hart all over the place.

Quite a trip to see a gig!

And another similar tip - dont put on pop socks until you are sure your toe nail varnish is dry.

Blimey grasscarp, I didn't know they still made popsocks. I haven't seen any since my teens when we all went through a brief fad of wearing a brightly coloured pair (yellow in my case) over a pair of American tan tights.
Not a good look.
