why didnt dumbledore pour the potion out of the goblet once it was full?

It was probably enchanted so he couldn't, or if it went on the ground/water it would distrub the inferi. But then again Dumbledore knew how do defeat them so I don't know why he wouldn't if that was the only harm in it, maybe they were just playing it safe.
