So not only is Britain to trade their military weapons, but also attached to the deal is the trade in our Armed personnel.

/// "What you are seeing specifically with the United Arab Emirates is not just a plan to sell Typhoon aircraft, but a big, significant defence co-operation, which could lead to more British troops stationed in their country," he told journalists at Camp Bastion in southern Afghanistan. ///

Money, money, money.
where do slaves come into it, AOG?
Now that Obama is vacating the Middle East Cameron is trying to fill the void. Whats in it for us? As mentioned better trade deals. But we cannot police our own country yet alone sorting out despots and sheiks in the middle east. Libya has gone to his head but when it comes to more superior nations such as Iran he's really got his work cut out.
Are they planning to not pay them? Outrageous!
What utter nonsense. Slaves do not volunteer and they are not paid handsomely and they do not receive very generous pensions. Slaves do not get their families housed and their travel subsidised.

It is nothing new for Britain to deploy troops where we have an interest. In this case securing our future energy supplies. The clever trick Cameron has done is to get the country to pay us for doing so.

Yes they were, they were housed on the plantations, and regarding their travel being subsidised, it was better than that it was free.
The 'slavery' reference is silly aog.
The term you were searching for is 'mercenary'

It was merely a tongue in the cheek reference, highlighting the very fact that Cameron is trading in humans along with materials.

There is no need to offer up our military for another's countries use, just so as to clinch an armaments deal with them.
