Where does Wide Sargasso Sea get its title? I know its inspires by Jane Eyre but I missed the sea reference when I read it.

The first Mrs Eyre came from Jamaica. I presume that she crossed the Sargasso sea to get to England. It is an area of sea known for its seaweed which is profuse and long making huge clumps, which host a multitude of marine life this could also be a metaphor for Mrs Eyre1's ming, at first confused and tangled but actually full of lfe and creativity

Sargasso sea

hmm, got cut off there. Sargasso seaweed is also a host to a rich and diverse population of marine life and is an isolated area of warm water in an surrounded by cooler, less hospitable sea, poss a metaphor for a stranger from the tropics come to England?
sorry, i meant of course "Mrs Eyre1's mind"
Sargasso sea is in the North Atlantic Ocean.
I had a chuckle reading that thinking you were trying to type in 'Mrs Eyre's minge'.
