I wonder if anyone can tell me how much my 1897, mother-of-pearl fret marked & bow backed mandolin with a Made in Napoli stamp inside it is worth?

I'd take it to be properly valued by a specialist auction house, if I were you...
To state the obvious - It depends on what condition it is in, whether it will require any restoration etc. If it's in really good nick perhaps up to £400 at the top end but really you need a professional valuation from an expert who can examine the instrument
