Does anyone know of a book about the Chinese War Of Resistance, which was fought from 1937 to 1945?
Sometimes known in the west as the Second Sino Japanese war.
Thanks in advance.

NB: Those aren't the only copies of those books offered on Abebooks (which is by far the best source for out-of-print titles). For other copies, search here:

Chris thankyou so much for that, I've got an account with Abe, but they never showed up.
Could you try your same magic on the Sino Vietnam war?
Thanks for your reply. There's no magic. The trick is to look under 'References' in the relevant Wikipedia article, so that you know exactly what you're looking for ;-)

You know, I never bother with Wiki, if I don't know something I post on here for a discussion.
I go on Abe and try all the variations I can think of for the war's names, and do you know what it came up with?
Nothing.
Which I find surprising, the War Of Resistance saved the Maoists and the loss of the Vietnamese war officially ended The Cultural Revolution, brought about the execution of The Gang Of Four (which included Madam Mao) ushering in Openning and Reform.
It had to have been covered somewhere.
