Has anyone tried one of these? or any barcode scanners for books?I really need to organise my books.
I have 3 free accounts on Librarything, as each only allows 200 books.
I am looking for a decent (cheap) scanner, thanks

Never used one (though I know that they were some sort of giveaway that went catastrophically wrong). I was considering using the Book Collecting software (not free, alas) from Collectorz.com who also do a package with a CueCat, so I guess that they are going to be suitable. Might be worth a look at eBay, too.
