hurrah!! Many thanks!!
I remember it, A girl bought the magic Pot and could have Porridge whenever her or hger widowed mother wanted it but one day she went out leaveing her mother who became hungy and managed to get Porridge but couldn't stop the Porridge coming. I had a Ladybird Version and my mother and I remind each other of it often, that and the story of the people trying to get a Turnip out of the Ground.
I remewmber that book, it was a ladybird book, my mum and I talk about it alot, I had that one and 3 little Pigs and Snow White and Rose Red.
