A little while ago I said I couldn’t get into this book and someone here (sorry, I’ve forgotten who it was and which thread it was on) advised me to persevere. I took the advice and enjoyed the book very much – so whoever it was, thank you.

Any more recommendations for good psychological thrillers would be very much appreciated.

I enjoyed The Girl on the Train too.

You could give The Bridesmaid by Ruth Rendell a try . It was made into a TV show or perhaps series some years ago, but I preferred the book.

Thanks ladyalex. I'll add it to the list.
Thank you, Naomi. I do hope so!
I saw a trailer earlier but didn't catch the date of the film version of TGOTT.

Anyone going to the flicks to see it?
October 5, ag
Ah,thanks scorpiojo
Question Author
I'll wait until it's on Sky.
I'm hoping to go and watch it. Been a while since I read the book so hopefully less smaller details to compare to the book version given it's likely to be quite different in setting etc...

Have you read Tell NoOne by Harlan Coben? I think you'd enjoy that.
Question Author
horseshoes, no I haven't. I'll add it to the list. Thank you.
I've read it, it was good.

I am hoping to go see the film this weekend but I saw some reviews earlier which weren't very favourable. I know the film rarely lives up to the book but I'm debating whether to go and see it or not now.
Question Author
As I said, I'll wait until I can watch it on television.
I can recommend anything by Harlen Coben, great writer !

Question Author
On the list. :o)
Too many books, not enough time naomi .....
Question Author
Indeed. Perhaps instead of popping in and out of here we should use the time to read more. ;o)
Ha! Good idea. How are you getting on with The Widow ?
Question Author
Progressing - albeit slowly (too much of my spare time on here!). I'm finding it all very curious. It's leading me to suspect one solution .... but I can't work out what the process was... or what transpired after the deed was done.... if you get my drift. Probably completely wrong.
Probably..... Seriously though, I'm not giving anything away.
