Trouble Finding A Book

My sister is trying to recommend a book she read years ago but can't remember who wrote it. She thinks it was called 'Daddy', and was about a little boy in Nazi Germany, but that's about it.

Any suggestions??

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is about a small boy in Nazi Germany but I am not sure of the author or whether this is the one you mean.
