I'm trying to make up a list of foods to avoid giving my 2 1/2 year old.

He's a handful and he's been seen by hospital and goes to his own nursery where he gets one on one time with the teacher. He had a bad week last week and the nursery have seen a side to him they've never seen, the teacher said he seemed like something was troubling him and he was very distressed. This is what he's like with me most of the day and there has been no change for over a year with nothing I can pin point to what it could be as there is no pattern to when he is set off

Till he has his hospital appointment i was thinking to try looking into his diet. I would say he has a good diet but reading forums some people were saying they avoid givig there hyper child bananas, apples, white bread

I'm trying to make a list but most of the things I'm findig online are all the E numbers

Can anyone help add to my list?

Is he hyper due to some allergy, or too much caffeine, or is he just overactive/bordering naughty? Sometimes it's hard to differentiate.
Hi

I have found this link for you as the Food Hospital which is being shown on the tv at the moment had a session on ADHD and how to help the child by changing his diet.

Hope it helps.

smarties and m&ms,
Fruit shoots.
Anything with bright food colouring I would say.
