This is a bit of a long shot but here goes!

I would love to buy this book and have done a bit of an internet search but can't find an available one (some sites look as if they have it but then don't).

Is anyone aware of a shop/site which might stock such an old childrens book? I'm sure it is out of print.

The Abebooks site shows two copies are available. Have you contacted these sellers? I'm shocked by the asking prices, though!!...

Although you are right - the price is a bit scary isn't it?!
