Hi, everytime I try to close down firefox lately the tab 'untitled'shows up and the whole page is blank. Takes me ages to close down, clicking this and clicking that, it's a pain. How can I get rid please? rosy

The vast majority of problems that arise with Firefox can be quickly eradicated by re-installing the program 'on top of itself'. (i.e. DON'T uninstall it first). All of your bookmarks and settings will be retained but any problems should disappear.

Thank you Chris for your reply. I did as you suggested and installed FF 3.5.7 but 'untitled' still appears. I found it in 'my documents' and deleted it but it made no difference. Any other ideas please? rosy
