I can see I'm getting some more answers to my question, but I can't access 'next page'.   I could do so this morning, but not this evening.   Very frustrating indeed.  Are you anywhere near solving this problem?

and on the top of the page I am now looking at is:

Hi Smudge.  Yes I have been following your postings and I too have been having the same problems for weeks.  I think I had a funny turn last night with my postings - might have been the two glasses of port! xxxx
Yes it is very annoying.  The problem seems to go away intermittently, but then it comes back again with a vengeance.  Most of the time it is not working properly.  I reckon this gremlin should be right at the top of the techies' things-to-do pile.

Mine was working fine and I was able to read the second page of FP's post. Unfortunately mines gone like the others now and can't access NEXT page.

 

I'm also getting the same error as FP on this post.

It certainly is taking the techies a long time to sort out.  You might as well close the site for a few hours as I have suggested before.  The problems are all back again this evening!  It's no good leaving the site open when the users can't access a great deal of it.  And to top it all I have had yet another non chatty question banned and I was really interested in the answers.  Thanks.
