Don't know really where to put this but what would you do?
We've only moved to this area a matter of weeks ago, being as we had to change doctors I signed up with a local surgery. I've only met this doctor once. We had a letter only yesterday from the 'General Medical Council' to tell us this Dr had been suspended for a year. There was no reason or explanation.
Being curious I got on the GMC site to see if anything was there. After a while I found his case and found out he was suspended for "Sexual Misconduct" 3 reported cases of this. Shall I change Doctors again? or stick here, there is a new locum there for the year, but after that Aug. 2010 he'll be back.

I saw this court case in the papers today, bit of a randy devil if its the same one having a bit on the side with a 17 yr old. You should be ok, they will give you new doctor.
It's extremely unlikely that he'll actually return to the same practice. The publicity, plus pressure from his colleagues at the surgery, will almost see him seek new pastures. (The GMC letter has to assume that he'll opt to return to his old post but everyone concerned will actually already know that he almost certainly won't).

Something I didn't mention, he qualified in 1972 so he's not a young doctor (in my estimation about late 60s) he may retire, I asked the receptionist about this but she declined to discuss it. Loyalty?

trt. Don't think its the same case.
