I have suggested that he gets his act together and starts using his flirting skills to persuade some of the more weak willed females on AB to try to re-discover the good natured non-bitchy side that they have lost since becoming habitual users of this site. I have said it like it is on AB, but i have seen some dramatic changes in some of the female abers who appear to have lost all sense of reality and independant thought.

Tambo, I rang Ethel's local library but unfortunately they wouldn't tell me anything at all. They just said they couldn't divulge any info - summat about client confidentiality.

They suggested I ring the social services. I didn't do that. If Ethel's just got fed up (she had expressed disappointment with some aspects of AB when we were in touch) she'd be miffed for me interfering. As you know, she's a very private person. It's a difficult one.

Ethel does live in a private property, tambo, but with her being an old(ish) lady (70+) and living on her own, I guess the social services might be concerned to know that she is okay.

I do have Ethel's address and I might send a letter and see if she replies. I guess there's nothing to lose. Part of me thinks she might be away on a long holiday - I know she likes her holidays abroad. Do you think I should write her a letter?
