does anyone else get an unwanted and unexpected and unasked for window opening for the above search engine whilst browsing AB? it is annoying.

I do sometimes get the 'popup blocked' message on AB but have never checked what it is that gets blocked,maybe it is the same as you get.

You mean this portal, dot? I get it (and similar stuff) all the time, when "fastening" my cursor (in order to be able to scroll) to what I believe to be a blank part of this page. Apparently there are ads there which I cannot see. I had half a mind to post here in Suggs asking whether hidden ads are really legal, until it occured to me that different browsers (and different settings) will display different things. In other words, that ad may not be invisible to everyone. Sooooooooo annoying!!!

(Before anyone decides to enlighten me about the blessings of the scrollbar, I do know it's there... I just prefer the wheel.)

Indeed I do dot,
Just what and why it only appears on this category I don't know (but I am glad it isONLY here).
I have never clicked to see what it is,I am just not interested.
I do have a pop up blocker working,but it still appears (Odd).

I don't, but then again I use the Firefox browser with the Adblock Plus addon, so I don't see any of the adverts here
