In the days of dial up, WWW used to stand for World Wide Wait.

Broadband has now improved this, with almost instant page refresh.

It has been particularly laboured tonight, perhaps one of the hamsters turning the wheel has been unwell. If they stopped all the pop ups and flashing ads it would go faster but then of course they'd be skint
w*** while waiting ?

at least the time wouldnt be wasted then ?
Due to traffic on site.

That's no excuse Tery. Can you name me another website that is sooo slow?
Did you mean "wail", Leggy? : )
Yes, it's enough to make anyone cry!
that should be self-regulating, then, terambulan? People get fed up with waiting and go to other sites; AB speeds up because nobody is left here. The Ed will have to read the flashing ads all by himself.
Im sure the chap from tenerife often does that with the aid from some of his merchandise But I just give up and go to another site that I use and pop back later.(:O)
It's a great site!!! I now have time to do all my chores, go out shopping and have a coffee with friends whilst I wait for the pages to refresh (or not)!
When I use this site at work, it is moderately fast, but when I come on here at home, my god!
It cannot possibly get worse!!!
I am tearing my hair out!
