Is this the longest BETA testing of any new website in the history of the internet? 2 years I reckon.

Gmail has been in beta since 2004, maybe earlier, and that's Google, for heaven's sake. When will they know?

Mine hasn't worked in ages - whole site usually crashes after 5 mins - it's getting boring!

Yes, the conclusion is that the BETA failed to measure up. All calls to restore it to the proper site fall on deaf ears.

and also to be noted is the fact that the beta on the main site was very short lived.
