Has anyone else got lots of earwigs?

They seem to be everywhere. Found 3 in the house today. One was crawling up the side of a carrier bag I'd put down for a few minutes, Ugh!

Yuk we get lots of woodlice here, I HATE em!!! also today got stung by a wasp first time in my relatively long life and wow did it hurt WAHHH

I never believed it until i saw it for myself pasta. they can't fly very far - or this one didn't - but enough to make me run!

Woodlice aren't TOO bad. they get everywhere, like earwigs, but they remind me of little armadillos!! Wasps are a different thing altogether. I loathe them!

No - they just scuttle around, minding their own business, don't they? I HAVE noticed an anomally though. When I was a child, woodlice used to curl up into a ball if they felt threatened, but they don't now!

Oh Ice youve just reminded me they did a sketch once on candid camera or similar about woodlice and baby armadillos where the supposed mother ate them all and the woman they had left in charge was totally convinced thats what she had seen it was hilarious LOL

They have - but even WORSE - those revolting Death Coach beetles. They'll raise themselves up if you "attack" one - ready to do batle with you!!! Absolutely vile things.

I gather none of us so far are very keen on insects!!! I'm not - although I try not to kill them, because they can be fascinating. I killed an earwig today, merely because when i swiped it off this carrier bag it was on, it appeared injured on the floor. i didn't want to see it suffer - but then scurried off as fast as my bad back'd take me!!
