I don't wish to sound unsympathetic, but why does this site bombard us with requests for donations to Hurricane Katrina victims?

Since when did we become the 51st State?

Why aren't you asking for help for flood victims in Hull?

possibly because the ads are American, even if you aren't? New Orleans was hit rather more badly than Hull by bad weather, but you should still feel free to give money to the victims of Hull unprompted

America could possibly claim to be the most civilised country in the world.

They should look after their own (and it's amazing that they haven't.)
