Can you have a successful argument or fight with someone full of apathy? Is there any way to effectively get your point across if the other party simply does not care what you have to say?

You just can't make people care if they don't. No matter how much you rant, rave and insult.

depends what persons like, I hacve had some debates on here and truned my opinion around as they have shown me a different way of looking at things. But if you're saying an argument well they already think they are right.

Thanks for your reply 4getmenot. I wasn't actually meaning someone just being strong minded and disagreeing to budge though. I actually mean someone who just doesn't care either way or indeed listen at all. I suppose in that sense it's not really an argument at all then is it?

Like speaking to Kevin the teenager maybe?
no an argument I guess they care really strongly and thats why they've made something simple into an argument
I am not arsed about what anyone else has to say as i only care about my opinion if i can be bothered having one, which usually i donl;t I tend to just answer the fact finding quezstions cos i am cleverer than most on here.
