Oh lord, I'll be so glad to get to cold rainy blighty - we now have a heatwave from Africa - police are stopping people asking if they have water with them and if not, where it can be obtained, I just popped to PO and thought I was gonna faint on the way home (uphill). Munching ice pops every minute.

Thank you both Robinia and Vinny for the Happy Birthday Greetings ,helped to make my day ! I received a NintendoDS today for my birthday with a Crossword Game to go in it ,grandchildren were amazed !!! I believe I may be getting more Games e.g. Brain Training ! although I think it's far too late for that ! Had a lovely day today ,went out for lunch etc and the family all came round later on . I'm well pleased .
Hope your Summer is not completely over yet ,it's been consistently sunny here but the overnight temperatures dropped down alarmingly .Roll on Spring (September 1st).
I hate the cold ,it gets in my bones ! Bye for now and Thanks xxxx

Hi Dolly, many happy returns to a fellow Leo! Sorry this is late, I hope you had a lovely day....Kit are you OK? your last post was a bit ummm what can I say....vaguely doomish...hope I am wrong.
Bon voyagee Neti, if you are hoping for cold and rain you are headed for the right place, my gazebo (one of those sideless tent things) took off across the garden yesterday with help from the strong wind..luckily no one was hurt, its now shorn of its tent bit and tied to a tree upside down awaiting the next tip visit (yes Robi, HUGE fun to go minimalist till it comes to my books and craft stash)

on re reading this my life is beginning to sound like something out of Monty Python....so that's about right then

and Vinnie.....hope that whatever you have been up to was fun....or at least not dull...
have got a list of possible future places if needed?
