Up in Travel, I have apparently posted a question asking about the Costa del Sol and Turkey. When I try and shout at someone for using my username, it says I am the question author!!! I AM NOT!!! I have been playing games all night, not using Answerbank, I have been on my PC, no-one else and no-one knows my log in details. Whats happening?

AB seems to have a technical glitch, resulting in log-in cookies sometimes being linked to the wrong username. Mortartube recently found that one of his/her posts came up with a completely different name attached to it:

Whoever posted the Travel question is probably equally confused!

I have been completely unable to log in using my normal name ( without the hyphen) for the last 2 days.....and I still have difficulty now. I used to be logged in automatically, but now I have to go back to my validating e-mail and click on that every time, and even then a message comes up saying that my user name and password don't match the database !
Question Author
Don't worry - I've sussed it!

Apparently, it was one of my friends who I don't see very often. Apparently I logged onto Answebank at her house a while back (to show her what a fab site it is). She remembered the site and came back to AB to ask a question and it automatically logged her in as me, as I was the last person on it using her laptop!!!

Only found out when I got a phone call saying "It was me....you know, who asked that question about the Costa del Sol or Turkey..."

Sorted!!!
oh yeah like us lot r gonna beleve that
