How do people know some users are going by another name ,is it certain knowledge ( and if so, how ), guesswork based on the phrase-ology or something else I'm missing ?
I find it difficult at times to follow a thread when reference is made to a reply ,using a name other than the one that is stated ( does that make sense ? )

Some people get banned and come back under a different name and in some way tell you, so its obvious. Others post in a similar style. The one that was recently discussed posts in a really obvious way, Using a different line where you normally wouldnt, almost looks like it should be a poem, very short sentences and a different line for each one. Its not a problem usually but sometimes people abuse it in order to give people grief.
Some of it is guesswork, and some people are stalkers who hunt down multiple users to expose them, a sort of ABer-igilanty. Some people have multiple user names so that they can have a conversation between themselves, often controversial in order to incite rebuke from other users, but mostly just sad and desperate. How other people tell I don�t know, but occasionally they trip themselves up or are just intentionally nasty and knowing without reason or erudition. It goes on of course, but the question is � does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?

How other people tell I don�t know, but occasionally they do trip themselves up.
Other times people just copy and paste a multitude of answers posted by another username and then appear to be that person.Funny how easily you can appear like a magician to be one person solely because you repost their posts or a mixture of other peoples posts as your own.
But then i dont suppose people would do that its way too complicated and underhanded.And the team of potential sherlock holmes clones on here would no doubt see right through it all.Or would they really??Who would do that here unless they were trying to look like someone else?
