Problems in "my profile"

I have just looked back in "my profile" to see if anything had been added or comments made. I checked on the MM links game results, and it says that the last answer was on Sunday. I noticed that there were more posts than when I last looked, so looked anyway. There were posts from Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but even when "refreshed", it still said the last post was on Sunday.
This is not the first time that this has happened, so it might be worth checking back on your posts.
It may also explain why some people don't acknowledge your answers--they have probably not seen them!
I posted this yesterday on Q&P and many others have the same problem. Is it possible to sort this out AB ED?

the date you see in my profile is that of the last time you added to that thread yourself.
This subject has been raised many times - it really would be better to see the date of the actual last posting.
have you contacted the tech team?

Sorry, I never realised that the date related to our own last postings on a thread--that does seem a bit daft, as I'm sure we can remember that!
Other ABers were not aware of this also.
Is it worth contacting the techies direct?--I did once and they totally ignored me.
That's what they do best, rogerr.
I think they're actually paid to ignore us.

Nice job if you can get it eh!
rogerr - i have raised this issue a few times now and got ignored

i would like the date and time of the newest post added to a thread i am involved in, so that if i answered at 4pm i would know any time after that means there is somenthing new to read - as it is i have to attempt to memorise the number of posts every time and just keep having to go back and check for new answers - which wastes my time.

for some reason both eds ignored this.

Thanks Joko--I won't waste my time then!
There are several issues that need attending to on this site that would make things run more smoothly. I wonder why the ed ignores us when we make valid suggestions?
Several people-me included--have asked that the search facility be improved. Again--totally ignored.
If nothing else, it is plain bad manners.
