Well, just help the AB Editor and report this kind of threads. I think that is why the reporting facility is there. Just one from the list above left.
No some things are a bit over the top yes, but if you feel strongly enough about them all then that is what the report facility is there for. And enough people report it then it goes.
Oh blow! I just went to check out the cyber sex question to see whether I featured anywhere and it has been deleted. Consider your work done (for that thread at least). Its that season again when irregular ABers(!) get all flirty and chatty about rude things for a little titillation. It is mostly adolescent schoolboys pretending to be grown up, hoping to get adults excited and it appears with some of the regular ABers, to work.

As partly said, you have three options:
1. Report it
2. Ignore it
3. Abandon use of the site through sensitivities and in protest

As regards your suggestion about an adult site/topic, plenty of those elsewhere all over the interwebnet for these bored adolescents to get their kicks.

Just let the AB Ed do their job and follow the site facilities to help AB and the Editing team maintain its usual (high) stands.
you was mentioned three time octavious!!!!

JjP + 4getmenot - a few ABers are 'standing up' and doing just that ... reporting - 'jus help the AB Editor'. But, ....

who is 'deleting the threads of those writing objections to lewdness? who is deleting a couple of token lewd threads, after objections ...... jno comment on the second half of ths thread is 'telling'.

Octavius - nowhere did I suggest an adultsite/topic on AB .... I asked the question as to whether that is what AB has become? .... just waiting for the Ed ....... and following your advice to help......

Report it or ignore it prospector. Im not sure why youre so upset? You only post in suggestions anyway! If its upsetting you that much, why go in to those threads?
prospector. Im so glad you posted those urls! As we know, this is just a portion of the lewd smut thats almost taking over B+S! Repeating myself, I just dont understand why those who like to chat about thier sex lives dont go to a proper sex site or MSN where they can chat away to their heart's content. How do we get into their head's AB is a family site? Doubtless they already know but have no pride whilst, we who do have our pride are "Miserable.moaning, boring old farts" Oh and we simply must get live's as well.

the way of a community site is to 'manage the flow and balance.

I see my first part of this question has disappeared!

There were other people who posted to our threads on these matters.

jno (on my other, now deleted thread) wrote:-

it (A'B')doesn't have to register, the Ed just has to allow it to sink by approving the sexual threads and removing any that dare object. I think her message is pretty clear.

So, no point in raising this kind of subject any more in Ab Suggestions or anywhere else --> react and behave as others do ... keep reporting thread after thread on B & S etc .... behave like the others anonymous reporting ...... hopefully like-minded ABers including crete, and those who 'havent got the energy' 45703 + B00
willl do similar.

Such a shame that there are so many acquiescent silent abstainers who like you say ' are too afraid to stand up and be attacked'. J, K, S, P etc come to mind.

prospector........i am one of those people who posted the threads you have linked. i am fully aware that you have an opinion on these matters and i fully respect your opinion as well as the others who seem to disagree with the posts aswell!

but, perhaps in some cases they are genuine threads and you are jumping the gun with your high morals? i mean , perhaps and 16-18 yr old girl is having trouble pointing her boyfriend in the right direction and is looking for a comforting bit of advice from the AB, its quite possible really isnt?

cyber sex is a great part of todays modern world and we,including you, are embracing this modern world with our use of the computer.......its just that some people have had no luck finding love within thier local area and have adapted thier lifestyles to the world of cyber sex........ so in theory, asking this question is fully above board!!

i think the recent additions of the sub sections has ripped apart the community the AB provided and i along with others find it increasingly frustrating that the AB has virttualy stopped!

i do honestly understand your points within this matter and no doubt you reply will use words i have never heard of, but i only hope that you can understand that it is your right to post on this site as well as it being our right to post aswell!

ALSO...........its your right to ignore/report what you think and i shall do the same!!

good day to you!
merely talking about sex is not lewd!

talking about sexual practices in normal everyday language is not lewd!

if something is graphic or explicit or sick and twisted, then yes, ban it, but asking what are actually questions about normal everyday practices - oral sex, clitoral stimulation and preferred breast sizes, is hardly sleazy underworld smut!

i think some people need to learn the difference here
prospector, I could'nt agree with you more! As you may have read on B+s there are those who feel the same as us and have openly objected but, there are others who decline to take it up with the Ed as they dont want to be verbally attacked. jno was'nt afraid to voice her opinions but unfortunatly feel's deflated. However, I dont and will keep on until something is done about this issue and I hope I can rely on your backing? There's still one post left on B+S re this issue. AB used to be such a good site for giving and receiving advice but its losing its credibity now sadly. Daisy.
joko, Talking about all you've mentioned below, I wont put it into word's. It may be "Everyday" talk for you, fair enough just dont post it on AB that's all we ask.
Except that the handful posting know damned well that they are just being ribald. For every genuine sexual problem posted there are ten others posted just to generate playground giggles and smut.

Bad sport whiffey !! Drag, it's only a bit of fun whiffey, chill whiffey.

Take it elsewhere, let me know where and I'll possibly join you, but please leave it off here ?
Question Author
daisy48, whiffey, et al

don't forget to use the 'tool' given to us ... use the reporting facility on everythingthat you, personally, consider is inappropriate for this 'family site', lewd etc ... mark the hoice box 'sexual' as often as you feel able to
