Great idea to split this into crosswords and riddles but can you stop entries at the Quizzes and Puzzels level? The majority seem to be continuing to use this for everything.

Aeolus, I am afraid I have to disagree with you there. Those of us who regularly provide answers in this category find it much easier to keep track of just one window. My monitor isn't big enough to have three windows open and have all the questions showing. It would also take three times as long to keep refreshing three windows - (and some of us are still on dial-up). Anyone posting in one of the subsections will generally have to wait longer for an answer and most have sussed that things happen faster in the main section just as they always used to before AnswerBank messed around with all these subdivisions.
does Aeolus post in Quizzes and puzzLEs?

Yes I do post in the top level because that is where you lot post. The whole point is that I don't want to run three windows either; even with IE 7 and it's tabs!. I want posts on crosswords; I don't care if they are in a top level or a sub section as longfas they are in one and not either.

In a nutshell; drop the subsections and run puzzels and quizzes as seperate sections OR block entry at Puzzels and Quizzes and force entries into the appropriate subsection.

Sorry folks there is a third option. Drop the subsections and stick with the single Quizzes and Puzzels section as was.
No jan in Quizzes & Puzzels lol

*apologies for my sense of humour*

Lost me there.pie+
Sorry Aeolus but you keep typing el instead of le for Puzzles LOL ;-)

OOps must get that right in future, especially after finding:

Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary - Cite This Source
Puzzel

\Puz"zel\, n. [Cf. F. pucelle a virgin.] A harlot; a drab; a hussy. [Obs.] --Shak.
Well there's plenty of those on this site!!! ROFL

That is so funny!!

*pie+mash runs for cover*>>>>>>>>>>>
well , i can't understand why they split the Q&P's up in the first place! should be just the one topic - QUIZZES & PUZZLES -the topic heading covers them all !
Please just let us have - QUIZZES AND PUZZLES - and get rid of the sub-sections. It was much better that way.
Question Author
Thanks you all. I think the concensus is drop the sub sections and run a single Quizzes and Puzzles. Over to you AB management!
