why don't you try having a search bar for specific things, eg. if you wanted info on Paris but didnt want to search the entire travel directory, you would type in Paris and all questions regarding paris would appear.
kinda like google i suppose...?

There is.

It's the little grey box underneath the topic list, whilst it's a bit iffy from time to time (think it drinks too much gin occasionally) it does work.
