good morning all...having a week of mixed fortunes....I've got a nice stiff one too Vin, have torn part of my right calf muscle so am walking with a distinctly strange gait and using distinctly salty language...not sure how I did it but I am fairly sure that a dog or dogs were involved.
Anyway it didn't stop me going to London to see my Mum yesterday...a real party, my two sisters were there, my niece and her two daughters who are aged six and two we had a lovely noisy lunch together.
Anyway going to spend today as i did tuesday with me leg up and being run around after by DH bless him.
later dudes
Thanks for your get well wishes, my aches and pains have gone now and I'm left with a Bl00dy great cold sore on me lip. Ne'er mind eh!!

But Vin you cheered me up with 'Stairway' :o)

I take about a month to do a jumper....at 8 p hr....
<rattles abacus...mmmm, should be able to crank my gas up to tropical...>
or you could just show us your indentations on ya memory mattress...heeheee...the pics should be worth a few bob..

glad you're feeling better Jude I've got just the thing to disguise that sore
c'mon Chas.....drop it....

no, I'm not drunk - as if? - there was a storm over the back earlier & it's made me a bit wappy.....
Hello all - home again ugh!! the house is filthy so am just taking a break as it's very sweti here. The flight home was a nightmare, the whole plane was full of stag and hen party people and there was liddle ole me stuck right in the middle of 'em, so I upped my skirts and danced with the rest of them. The stewardesses couldn't control anyone but then they joined in. I was shattered when I left the plane and met Mr N (did you manage to sleep on plane he asked??) Huh!! I didn't know that BA supplied free booze, ooh but I do now!!

Got away with 30kgs in suitcase and about 8 in hand luggage.

Yes, jude I saw Mamma Mia and it was superb, loved it, but the cinema was full of old people, who I doubt very much have ever heard of ABBA. I didn't much like Meryl Streep as I thought she was too old for it, cos if the girl was 20yr and then the mother would have been in her mid 40's - still fab film.

Orf I go again, George has been out of the closet and very MANFULLY dealt with all the dirt.
Can everyone form a circle around this imposter while I take some dna samples please? she can't possibly be the real neti...the oldbiddyneti....this one is some ageist ladette, tut.
I know nowt about the film but in real life Meryl's only 59....and too old to have heard of ABBA? well they weren't exactly born yesterday..... too old to have heard of the Ting Tings maybe but....oh dear, oh dear, what did those rowdies do to you on the plane?? <sigh>....I'll sit here & wait for the dear sweet sweti to come back
& she'd better have bought presents....
No, No and thrice No, tis I the real swetineti. I am shattered. It's actually overcast but still humid. The groom on the plane was dressed as a banana, it was hilarious, but I'm not sure what the Guardia Civil thought at this end, apparently the groom only has a banana costume, a nappy and a toga to wear all the time here as his "friends"didn't load his luggage!!!

<<<Presents?? isn't I enough? To be back in the loving arms of the Biddies!!>>
He he - that's just how I felt, and probably how I looked. Keep looking out for my flight companions but nowhere to be seen. Back to being liddle ole me again. Heck it's hot here and am now getting sore throat.
typical, first whiff of rain over a bank holiday and biddies are washed away. Well, I have three shifts to go and am looking forward to this week.

Actually, truth be told, I have alreadly left mentally, just going through the motions at work and chatting to people
Yes what happened to the fine dry weather we were promised ? It's been decidedly chilly here today .
Not long to go then Jno and you will be a Biddy of Leisure .
I am busy packing and unpacking .In other words dithering about what to take to wear and so on .
I shall bid you all a fond farewell now as we have to be up at some unearthly hour on Tuesday morning so I shall get as much sleep in as poss tomorrow .Have a nice Bank Holiday and see you all anon .
Behave while I'm away ..no loosening of stays and line dancing in yer slippers .We must keep up appearances .
That includes Neti by the way :))
Toodlepip xx
Umm shaneyCome back - where are you going??

Yes jno Ido hope youdon't think you are going to loll around the house all day, fag in mouth ash falling over ample bazoom, and dirty dressing gown. Appearances must be maintained.

Hello to Kit if she's looking in, x
I am orf to Germany Neti to munch on bratwurst ,drink large quantities of altbier and celebrate my Ma in laws nintieth birthday . Mr S will have to wear a suit and I have a posh frock because the Pastor will be visiting .
In reality I shall probably be lumbered with the cooking ,provision of large quantities of Coffee and cake and the washing up !
hellooo....I saw the lights were on, bloomin dark of an evening intit? I nearly came to blows with someone yesterday - just as well we were talking on the phone...she said it's been a lovely summer!....what??!! When I reminded her it had persisted down at some point during most days she said it hadn't on her garden. Now the fact is that she lives next door but one....grrrr...she's one of those that swears black's white, or, in her case, that green is orange, but that's another story.

Oh have a safe journey shaney, hope you've packed your tiara to go with your gownless evening strap...but don't put it next to your lifejacket
Have a lovely time...auf wiedersehen, don't forget your camera.

erm, yes jno I see you've gone into wind down mode...will you still be popping in to see us? It's all getting a bit sparse in here, we might have to advertise for replacements soon.

Its been a lovely summer hasnt it.
Ive got a lime in me Kitchen thats orange (:O)
Hope you have a great time Shaney..well apart from the cooking cleaning and doing the washing up...are you going to stock up fer xmas..!

Fancy spankng an American yo right..must split..gotta go see some wallpaper...me son goes back to Cambridge sunday so should be able to annoy you lot even more hehe..1 later>>(*_*)yo
I'll be waiting for him, cheeky booger

I'll show you some wallpaper Vincent...in fact you'll be able to see it a lot better once you've pasted it on my boudoir walls....I do a good burnt toast.

Hi everyone ,just dropped in before going to bed . Weather still nice and fine and sunny here but cools off rapidly when the sun goes down . Plays havoc with my poor arthritic fingers ,never mind soon be Spring (for us that is ) .
Been out shopping for Geraniums ( or Pelargoniums ) today and yesterday. They are one of the drought -resistant plants which we need here and I love them as well ,all the bright colours. We are still on restricted water rations but I think we are now so used to it no-one seems to mind .
neti why ever did you go to live somewhere so warm when you prefer the more temperate climes of England ? I'm sure a few of the Biddies would swap places with you !
Enjoy your holiday Shaney and here's hoping you all get a beautiful Indian Summer -you deserve it .
Bye for now ,bedtime xxx.
Clap hands and slap yer thighs shaney!!

Dolly I was escaping from an abusive relationship and my mum lived here, it could have been Alaska for all I cared - in fact, now I wish it had been, but I didn't notice the ghastly heat and humidity when I was younger!!!
