OK..... but what a beautiful day it has been; so worth it! It's time it was Winter and we've had a lovely, long Autumn. :)
Snow on its way from Iceland apparently.

Don’t you get fed up with the decorations if you start early? Christmas must be old hat by the time it actually arrives.

I never get fed up Naomi ( well maybe on Boxing Day ) haha
It was such a lovely day that we wrapped up and took a picnic by the river. Came home and cleared out a couple of hanging baskets. Its still autumn, the leaves aren't off the trees yet so winter can stay well and truly in the future for me!

Cashier I love the run up to Christmas more than the day itself, CE being my favourite….got to be cold to bring on the magic
Must dig out some recipes for mulled wine. That would go down a treat on these cold nights.
I love Christmas Eve, especially if there's a ghost story on TV !

Bah humbug. I loved it as a child, loved it when I had a child and then sighed a big sigh of relief when I didn't do it any more

As you say it's gunna be cold tonight but isn't it brilliant we have central heating. It's just bliss for me and my Maxie.

Also the new rug for the front of fire is now Maxie's new cushion. So he is as happy as a pig in a not a very nice word LOL.
>>> Snow on its way from Iceland apparently.

I usually just get frozen ready meals there ;-)

>>> It's autumn til 21st December

Not according to meteorologists though. Their definition of 'Winter' is the months of December, January and February.

I think that I might give in tomorrow (or possibly even tonight) and finally turn some heating on in the house for the first time since early Spring. I'm sure that the cats would appreciate it ;-)
