Dear Ed would it be possible to have automatic sign in for AB? The old joints aren't what they used to be and by the time I've typed in my name and password I need a rest - and half the time I forget what I intended to say!
When I joined a few years ago all I did was select sign in my user name appearedI poked it and whoosh, so did my password. So easy, but now it's a real bind, so please could you do something to assist this poor old girl as writing to the Techies was a waste of time as they didn't even reply. (Did I sound pathetic enough?)

Cetti, when you've managed to find yir bifocals, have a look on the "my profile" page .Below yir name and e-mail address you'll see "Do you want to automatically sign-in in future?" tick the option.....

It's already checked my darling, but it's never worked for me.
Mmm that's odd - I have my name already in but have to type my password.
If we ever get a Biddybank we'll have to shout a password through the letterbox before we're allowed in you know!!
Maybe you've spilt some Wincarnis on the keyboard at some point.................

At this rate I'll never find BiddyBank Robinia, what with Corby feeding me Wincarnis plus a little brandy for my tum! Some kind soul will have to lead me...
Cetti:

Sorry to go all techy on you, but if AB doesn't log you in automatically, it's because the cookie has gone AWOL from your system.

Go to 'My Profile' and put a check mark in 'Or, if other users use my computer ..." and click 'Submit'. Then do the same again but check "Do you want to ...". With a bit of luck, this should re-create the missing cookie and you should be able to sign in automatically again.

Well Chris, thanks to you half of me is in - just the password to go now. So does that mean there's still half a cookie floating about somewhere?
hi everyone, you know, if Biddybank ever happens, can we please have a ramp to get in? My leg has been giving me some stick lately and if we have to tackle stairs to get to Biddybank, I dont think I would manage em.

I ate half a cookie I found last night......

Is ashamed :(

I've always been automatically signed in, so never have to type in my password.
Not being a techie this may be a load of rubbish - but have you got a password manager anywhere to look at ?
Re biddy bank - please can we have those powered chairs that lift up to hep you get out of them?
My poor hips would really appreciate that.
Do we have to bring our own hotties and will we have a good supply of hot water to refill them?
