When I post in Music, it states that if it is about an advert, post in adverts - I must be thick, I cannot see it anymore.

Do you run Norton internet security by any chance.  Disable the ad blocking part of it. (Or which ever ad blocking software you run)

I don't see it on my screen either, but if you type in http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Adverts/ then you can see it's still there. I have no idea why some people can see it and some can't! The top of my topics list on the left of the screen is Animals and Nature.

OK Now I'm scared... I pasted the URL for adverts and it dissapeared when I hit the "submit" button.

Nope - it won't let me post a url here.

Anyway, if you click on the animals topic and then change the words in the url to "adverts" instead, it should work :-(

Almost definitely to do with some over zealous anti virus software blocking out anything with 'advert' in it - try and disable this as Kerplunk says

dear AB ed, i dont seem to be able to access the adverts section either, no matter how much of my anti-virus software i disable.. would it be an idea to change the topic name to 'commercials' or 'ads' or 'ads/commercials' or something else that wont get blocked by software which probably most of the site users have enabled?

I must apologise, to everyone who replied to this thread. I am sorry if you thought I was an ungrateful p***k.  Kerplunks answer helped perfectly. I posted a thank you and now it's gone.... I went into ad blocking and set a new rule - perfect.  Sorry again. 3 stars to all concerned - And feel free to give me a kicking next time you see me.(kick self) argh ya b*****d!

I know thay are adverts, but if you change the to commercials, this might end the problem!
