It is as good as it's going to be Billy,bearable but restricting and I have to admit defeat on certain tasks,but there we are,can't complain as I said just to accept it and soldier on!How are you feeling,was it the old trouble which was bothering you or the aftermath of your eye op?

My eye is fine now i am glad that i got it done, i go for a check up in aberdeen in think it is the second week of january, hope the weather is ok, i have just put an ink mark on my new leather sofa it is only a few weeks old i am trying to find the best way to clean it any ideas?

Oh dear I saw a thread a while back about exactly the same thing and there were several suggestions which I am afraid I can't remember but if you google it you will come up with a solution,I am pleased to hear you are happy with your eye op has the sight improved any now and are the drops a forever thing?

Have you two ever thought of swapping email addresses?

I'm sure no one minds the fact that you two converse on here, but surely by texting directly to each other it'll cut out all the hit and miss of you possibly missing each other? Plus it'll be more private.

I did google it and there are a few suggestions like WD 40 which i have just tried not a great success it is on the arm of my chair it is a burgundy colour + it is black pen, the eye drops are now finished brill..

Thanks for that boo yes I have thought about it,maybe put that into action in the New Year,merry Christmas.

The trouble is avoiding it spreading with anything you may try,so be very careful also with a dark colour of leather so,me things may lighten it.Glad the drops are done,that will be a relief to you.

I have just tried some anti bacterial hand soap it has taken some of it out, what do you think of the pic of my guitars..

As I said be careful what you try,as it may take the colour out of the leather!Yes very nice Billy are you still strumming away,sad about Joe Cocker dying.

yes i am strumming again, i was off it for a while, but i am slowly getting back to it, the guitar to the left is the oldest it is a 1979 stratocaster the middle one is a Ibanez semi acoustic, the white one is the newest it is a PRS Custom s2 24, i treated myself to that one when i took early retirement, joe cocker was a fine singer.

Yes a very fine array of instruments,it would be very sad if you lost interest and as I said before if that is what you enjoy and it gives you pleasure,quite right to treat yourself as you said you enjoyed your work and was sad to have to retire so soon,so well done!Joe Cocker was an acquired taste because of his rasping voice I used to like Unchain My Heart which he sang. We have a lot to be thankful for Billy despite our health issues,that was a dreadful tragedy in Glasgow!

Yes that was terrible in glasgow, bad enough at any time but worse at this time of year, it looks like the driver of the lorry had a heart attack, we have our health problems but that was horrible :-(

I heard on lunchtime news,though not confirmed something about a teenager and her grand-parents were some of the dead,really tragic so all from one family,the frightening thing is this could happen to anyone,a driver becoming ill at the wheel.

Yes most likely an older man driving the truck, i ordered a guitarists stool from e bay the other day i am expecting it to be delivered today, so i must be getting my appetite back for playing my guitar.
