I know this has already been requested but isn't it possible to add the time the post was sent along side the date.
OK all the time zones would be confounding but perhaps decide to use GMT as a standard - why not?

Hi Artful - I also asked for a time facility in a previous thread - along with Country of origin. That's why I sometimes write the time in some of my posts!

I seem to remember but did you get a faourable reply of any sort, smudge? The country of origin seems to be 'not on the cards' but as I suggested using a specified time zone, like GMT...

Here's another suggestion that appeared after the one I'd posted - way back in '04. I'll try to find my one too, to see what response I got Artful.

Well, I vote in favour of it!  It would help to show cross postings - and save us saying "oops - crossed posts" and adding to the thread!  It might also somehow help to show up any imposters/multiple personalities (not that I want to start that conversation!!).

Anyway - for the cross-posting ID'ing - it's a GREAT idea! :-)

Hi All,

Thank you for the suggestion. We have passed this onto the Heavies in Technical and it has entered the queue of things to do.

AB ED

Thanks Ed - look forward to a positive outcome!

Ditto smudge! That's great ABEd, fingers crossed.

*Gives Ed some choccy cake and hopes that (s)he will pass it on to the techies (as bribery) without eating TOO much her/himself!*

Cheers Ed! :-)
