At last - I have just received an e-mail from AB Ed, informing me that they are now sorting out the  reporting & banning of post problems!

I am also informed that they now 'prefer' the word Removed to Banned! I am very pleased, but can't believe this is only now being put into action, especially after all the requests that have been made since I joined way back in 2002!

If you take a look back on suggestions, you will see what I mean! Hurrah!

This is excellent news smudge and will benefit all on AB well done ED.
I agree - HURRAH!
excellent! Now start putting your suggestions together for enactment in 2008.
Ive only just got back from London Smudge,And this is good news.At last Is the AB ED going to stop these people with a hundred user names controlling this site. Will he /her Ban these Imposters that have ruined this site. This is a step forward We all know who these people are and the user names they use at random. They really think that we fooled by making out they live in a foreign country etc. They have been able to ban any posts or users that they disagree with..Here's keeping my fingers crossed.Well done Smudge,FP,Rod.And all the users that have fought against these  **********.
Sorry about my spelling smudge,Im so pleased to be back home the first place i went was my bar( :)!!
I do hope these several posts that have spoken about Imposters living in a foreign country don't have me in mind, VINNY for example?
ummm... as a new kid on the block I have no idea who they are. The only foreign correspondents I know are RevShirls, Clanad, Allo as was and Artful... and I thought they were all such nice gals!
Well, I know I am jno and I thought, even think, the others are too. Thankyou.
I see the first two posts have been reported for some unknown reason. If ABE is going to let us know why we've had posts pulled, is it not time for the malicious reporters to be warned about their behaviour?

'Malicious' reporters should be banned for sure as should 'viruses'...but.... malicious intent would be very hard for ABE to prove .I guess ABE has to give everyone a fair hearing. On the other hand repeated reporting over every silly little thing is proven by the very act, and I agree a warning is in order TCL, and then a complete ban if no note is taken. They should be given a fair chance to temper it down.  Mind you they can then come back under a new ID, and maybe they will appreciate the site more.   Hoping this doesn't get me suspended!

jno you forgot me! (Although I'm not a gal)

jno, you forgot me, too (and I'm not a gal either!).

Thank you for all your positive replies! -x-

He's got short term memory loss SteveD! Me too, where are you?
Oh, and Hurrah Smudge, apple crumble for ED!
hey, I said I was a new arrival - I don't know where most people are, including SteveD. I don't count Australia as overseas, on account of it's all pretty much like Earl's Court.
I'm in Belgium.
jno - you forgot me also - forgive my shouting but it's a long way from Spain and I am genuine
