Ok there's a go back link top left but what is it that every other site does that AB seems unable to do? It doesn't work in IE 8 and not in Firefox.

there is a fault with AB and the back button at mo, but AB has kindly given a "go back" button above the logo for those who have the problem
I'm sure this has been dealt with somewhere- it was something to do with the way ads are displayed on AB.
I've got used to it now- the Go Back option works, or I can right click on the back arrow, or I can use Google Chrome
Mine works just dandy, and I'm on Firefox.

Bet that helps you doesn't it?
My back button works as well on Firefox (version 8).

I wasn't going to say anything but BOO, twisted my arm. OOW!
The Ed is well aware of the problem and has an official thread on this matter.
Very interesting thread to read.

Right NOW is my first AB session for about two weeks in which the usual back-arrow is working perfectly. Try it again.
Quizmonster.....It would be interesting to know what Browser you are using, because lots of folk do appear to be getting problems with IE and also FF.

Put a comment in the Ed's official thread. I feel sure he will be as interested as I am.

Ron.
Actually, Ron, I spoke too soon, I now see!
Ron, One and a half hours later and it's working fine once more! I use Firefox 8.01.
what the button does is take you back to an ad, which the system is currently reading as a whole page. If you hit the button three or four times you should be taken back past the ads to the last real page.
Firefox 8. is now my default Browser and all seems well.

However, if I switch to IE 9, it is a real hit and miss affair. It can involve clicking the mouse up to 8 times. Using the series of arrows, which the Ed has installed, only takes me back a single page and then it becomes impossible to move back with the menu produced by a right hand click.

Anyway the Ed is working on the problem and has said in his official thread
"I've got a new theory to try with the Techies. We'll see how it goes."

I haven't a clue as to what is the theory, but I hope it works.

Ron
I'm sure Firefox is all very well for those with control; but some of us have employers who don't trust employees, not even those in R&D, to install what they need, and have to stick with IE. Should I assume work on what is bugged on this site, has ceased ?
