What shall I do? Make the Betty Crocker blueberry muffins for my brother, coming to stay on a once in a blue moon visit, or wait till he`s gone and scoff the lot myself?

Well tried, quassia, but I don`t think the guilt trip will work. I`m more likely to think that what the heart doesn`t see the eye doesn`t grieve over.
venator, not a bad idea but I`ve only got one box and I might be tempted to eat both lots!
Think boo`s got the right idea.

puternut, that`s the worst scenario! Save a B C blueberry muffins! It`s never been done in the history of the world. They have to be eaten buttery hot.

I suppose it does look as if my mind`s made up, show me the way to the kitchen

Ok, plan B. Make those too, and keep them to yourself as well. You know it makes sense.

Let's face it ,he only turns up once he a blue moon, he obviously doesn't deserve cakes, make him toast. ;-)
