I have got raging toothache. I realise other people have got problems hundreds of times worse than this but at present its no consolation. Only 2 hours until my next paracetamol.

i never thought that toothache could be such a big deal, and thought that people over reacted to it.......... until i got it.
hope it clears up soon
have you tried adult teething gel, it sometimes works for me.
When do you see your dentist? And be thankful it didn't start on a Friday evening.
If you can take them, ibuprofen work far better for tooth ache than paracetamol - you can take them both together as well just read the labels for dosage
Have you arranged a dental appointment?
I presume you have got yourself an emergency dental appointment?
poor you have my sympathy, have you booked an appt with your dentist, it wont go away by itself , good luck, theres nothing worse than toothache.
welcome to the club, even my dentist said there is nothing like it, and i have had it so often, getting things fixed now, but ended up in hospital at one point, because no dentist was open. I would have cheerfully drowned myself. Paracetamol do little for a really bad toothache, perhaps its root problems and the you are in trouble. Is there no way to find a dentist?

Have been to the dentist, and am on antibiotics but she tapped the bad tooth to make sure which one it was!!!!!!. Its an abcess and when the infection clears it will have to come out. Thanks for all your comments, I just needed a bit of sympathy.
poor you , luckily i've only had an abcess once but i remember how horrible and miserable i felt :-(

((((((((hugs)))))))))

i'd offer you some of my choc but under the circumstance's i'll eat it but think of you whilst i do
You have mine, i had same, an abscess, and was crying a lot of the time, inbetween downing endless medication, none of which worked.
Old_Geezer sympathises. Not been that long since I managed to get the dental work done that stopped my teeth/jaw aching.
Yeah, clove oil and Ibuprofen helped me.
listen to start of this track with volume full up

if its so bad, go to A&E, might seem a bit of overkill, but they might be able to take it out as it is. I had the same, and they took it out, even though it was infected. Woke up in pain, but not half as bad as before.
The best pain killers I have ever had for raging toothache, is Paramol, which can be bought over the counter. Excellent, and they do work
Very strange, I know but I've never had toothache! Am I missing something?
