WiFi connections

My wife takes her Laptop wi fi enabled to hotel rooms WiFi enabled but finds getting connected via START-Connections-SHOW ALL CONNECTIONs--then enter username and password supplied by the hotel for a price.
Is there an easier way for her to connect to internet wireless?

How much easier do you want? You/she can rightclick the connection icon in the taskbar and open the network connections from there but that's not much quicker.

lol. I think your missus must be a cousin of mine. Intelligent in all facets of life except no patience when it comes to computers.

You can put a shortcut to the network connections folder on desktop so she is one click closer... but a shortcut to the actual network is impossible as each hotel has their own and won't be recognised by the laptop until it is within range.
