If shooting game birds is bad enough, not eating them is criminal.
Btw, two tagged white tailed eagles have gone missing in Scotland and guess where? Over a grouse moor.

Not acceptable. It removes the justification. Makes it little better than fox hunting.
Seems like more control is needed.

There's a voluntary agreement over the burning of moorland heather,og. Guess what? They're still at it.
Damn tories.
Sick world we live in, always has been, always will be ..
A strange thing to find enjoyment in, isn’t it. Shooting birds and dumping them in a lay-by. But then it’s a strange and scary person who enjoys shooting birds.
Do they do it for the table? Of course not.
Do they care at all for endangered birds? Not one bit.
Sad people lacking in so many ways. Those who shoot and just as bad, those who breed and supply the birds to be targets for oddballs.
Unfortunately big money can be had on the moors. £10,000 for a days shooting on the moors owned by Russians and Saudis. They buy up thousands of acres of moorland, kick off the farmers and employ security guards (sorry 'gamekeepers') to patrol the public rights of way to discourage walkers. It rightly should be banned. Grouse and pheasants were there long before the commercial shoots and they will not die out if shooting was banned.
