Mr.c has just informed me that if I hadn't been sitting on my bum at the computer I might have seen about 50 brent geese fly over. I wish I'd seen that. We love this time of year with the wintering birds.

That amount seem to fly over Binley Woods/Brandon area every morning and night for the past few weeks---Noisy lot as well !
Are you sure you are seeing Brent geese. These are a coastal winter visitor. They would be really unusual in Warwickshire. Brents are small dark geese about Mallard size. They don't fly in formation like other geese.
