5 Days feasting and 2 lean ones...

As diets go this seems doable. I was thinking for the lean days 2 tins of baked beans each on a slice of toast. That would just fall into the 600 calorie level.
Apart from the wind can anyone see any problems?

Is it two consecutive days, Sandy?

No. They need to be apart. Eat your normal diet, rather than feast, for the other 5 days and about 600 calories on the two days.
"Five days farting and two bean ones" surely ...
<<lol dave>>

surely anything beyond gruel is getting close to gluttony sandy? ;)
My OH and I have been looking at that diet sandy. Some friends of ours have started it and rate it quite highly.
As for the wind problem, I suppose it depends which point of the compass it's coming from.

Even on gruel I've been piling on the pounds. :-(

I suppose it's the tail winds I'd need to worry about.
Just eat nice normal meals for 7 days put cut down on quantity. Use a smaller plate. It works and your systems soon gets used to it and you don't feel hungry. Five days feasting and then depriving yourself for two won't do anything to adjust your appetite control. Drink a glass of water before a meal.
Maybe leaving all the doors and windows would help? The resulting drop in your core body temperature might also help burn off a few extra calories.

If I removed my cilice-hairshirt to the uninitiated-could I lose even more weight?
My daughter eats normally for three days a week, eats leanly for two and fasts for two if she moves too far from what she considers her ideal weight and it seems to work for her very well, so I can't see that your ideas is a bad one Sandy.
Now Sandy reveals his true colours - Opus Dei! Be afraid, very afraid, ye of little faith.
I'd replace one of the tins of beans for a jacket potato and add a side salad.

It'll be more filling but less windy!
