jackdaws have made their nest in a chimney here. I will need to remove the nest eventually, as the chimney is used in Winter, and have a net or cowl fitted to stop them reusing the site, but when do they stop using the nest? Do they have a second brood?

I think Corvids usually only have one brood as they stay with the parents quite a while. If they lost the first batch they might try again though.
