Miniature Dachshund Sleeping a lot

my mini daxi puppy is sleeping a LOT! shes very active and a normal little puppy but she does sleep for hours at a time. will she grow out of this or is it a daxi trait???

How old is she? Sleeping is a puppy trait...ALL puppies. They tend to play in short bursts-then sleep for a few hours. I doubt it is anything to worry about.

shes only 13 weeks. i didnt think it was anything to worry bout, just wondered if its a daxi thing too? ive read somewhere that they sleep lots!

ha wait till she is about 8/10 months and all over the place ALL the time, you will yearn for puppy kips then.

While she is sleeping she is growing! All puppies do this. Make sure you let her out for a wee as soon as she wakes up.
