Well, according to the DWA Act of 1976 it looks as though you will probably be alright with a nice cuddly Great White.unless of course you are either a zoo, pet shop or circus in which case it appears that you are exempt from requiring a license for any of them.

Hope this helps.

No! They are all exoctic animals!

If you put them in formaldehyde, please drop me a line, I know someone who'll give you good money for them. If that's physically possible....

Exotic or not. Not all exotic animals are dangerous, the licensing law only relates to those that are considered dangerous . Parrots for instance are exotic but you do not need a license to keep one. Thats why it's called the Dangerous Wild Animals Act as opposed  to the Exotic Animals Act. How would you define an exotic animal anyway. To some people a goldfish might be considered as exotic.

i'm pretty sure you don't need a licence for ostrich. i once knew a bloke and he kept rheas which are from the ostrich family and i'm pretty sure he never needed a licence for them.
Did he call it 'Chris Rhea'? I bet the temptation would be overwhelming. Rheally overwhelming.

If the Rhea was female, maybe it was called Di.....
