Seen them on Countyfile tonigh, we surely can't allow them in Britain? Take battery farming to a whole new and very cruel level

It was awful for the animals never to see the light of day. Now I know why my sons American girlfriend was surprised to see cows in a field.
One of them was letting them out in the field, or did I imagine that? The smell seemed to be what was putting the neighbours off though, not the animal welfare!

They are never let out, its disgusting!
I think the worst statement was when the American pig farmer replied to Adam's question about whether or not the pigs could turn around said "They get to turn around when they are moved from one barn to another" - a shocking revelation and one to be ashamed of imo.
I've not seen Countryfile-but have seen references to these super dairys-and they seem to be the dairy industry equivalent of battery hens. It looks like money rules,and welfare just goes by the wayside.
