What poster/s did you have on the wall when you were growing up ?

My posters as a teen were of George Michael ,Paul Young and Don Johnson (great days ) also does anyone know if the kids still cover their excercise books in wallpaper and posters to protect the books .I remember covering my cooking book with our kitchen paper lol

first Jason & kyle along with some Morten Harket and bros. Then Garfield, then new kids, then my whole room was covered with Take that (couldnt even see wallpaper) then a bit of rebelious blur and oasis
gran - what about 'Careless Talk Costs Lives' or 'Your Country Needs You' ;o)

I remember my mom bought a roll of cheap wallpaper from "do it all" to do all my books, it wasnt woodchip though, primarily because I used to keep picking at the wood chips
Marty Wilde, and Elvis Presley in G I Blues.
Charlies Angels, Christie Brinkley, Charlotte Dumplings, Susan George, Kate Bush,..... the list is endless ...........kept me busy for hours :0)
the Rolling Stones - I think Fab magazine ran one each week as a centre spread and you could save them and pin them together on the wall for a poster-sized picture.

School books covered with the old traditional spare roll of wallpaper.
David Bowie, Bryan Ferry, Adam Ant, Depeche Mode, Human League. and I drew on the wallpaper. I even sprayed it once with car paint :o)
Rod Stewart
Kajagoogoo, Paul Young, Nik Kershaw and Michael Praed ( Robin of Sherwood ). Later on that all came down and my entire wall was covered with posters of and articles about Morrissey.
David Cassidy, The Osmonds and Rod Stewart.
